The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the 9th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 21-02-2016 (Sunday) throughout the country and abroad.

As per the declared schedule of the Examination, the candidate’s e-Admit Cards, will be available on website showing the particulars along with the photograph & signature of the candidates on the CTET website www.ctet.nic.in from 25.01.2016. The candidates may visit CTET website to download their e-Admit Cards. In case of any discrepancy/visibility or mismatch in particulars and photograph/signatures on e-Admit Card vis-à-vis particulars stated on the confirmation page, the candidates may contact the CTET Unit for correction latest by 10.02.2016 along with the copy of their confirmation page. Thereafter no request for correction in particulars will be entertained as per CTET-FEB 2016 Information Bulletin.

This is issued for Direct Recruitment of Secondary Grade Teachers under Social Defence Department. It has been decided to fill the following vacancies of Secondary Grade Teachers / House Masters from the candidates who have been qualified in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I Examination conducted in 2012 and 2013 found in that Merit List.

The Director of Social Defence Department vide Letter No.1169/A2/2014, dated 11.12.2015 has informed that the Juvenile Justice Committee of Hon’ble High Court of Madras constituted as per the orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in its report in W.P.No.6915 of 2015 has stated that appointment of Secondary Grade Teachers already made and to be made in future shall be subject to the outcome of Special Leave Petition.

Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test certificates for the qualified candidates were already issued by Teachers Recruitment Board. However in the present context for the convenience of the candidates, the Board decided to re-upload the certificates in its website ( www.trb.tn.nic.in.). This is for the sake of candidates those who have lost their TNTET certificates in the recent heavy rainfall and flood. Certificates uploading date will be
announced in due course.

Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in

Go to the link “Apply On-line” and open the same.

Read the instructions carefully before filling on-line Application Form and click on the link “Proceed to Apply Online” (at the end of page) to apply online and follow Four Simple Steps

STEP 1 Fill in the on-line application form Part-I and note down the registration number.

STEP 2 Upload Scanned Images of latest photograph and signature in the online application form Part-II

STEP 3 Make payment of fee through Debit/Credit Card or download e-challan for payment in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank.

STEP 4 Take print out of Confirmation page for completing Part-IV and keep it for future reference along with copy of e-challan, (if fee paid through e-challan). The candidates are advised NOT to send the hard copy
of the application/confirmation page to CBSE/CTET .

Click on “Proceed to go online”, follow the instructions carefully and fill the Application Form. After filling all the required information on the Application Form click “Next” or “Reset” button. “Next” button proceed for “Review Page” and “Reset” button resets all the fields of Application Form filled by the candidate. After check all the particulars filled by the candidate in Review page, click on “Final Submit”, if all the particulars are correct else go for “Back” button and correct the particulars and then click on “Final Submit” button on review page.

After Final Submission, note down registration number and follow step 2 for uploading images of latest photograph and signature in JPG format only.

After uploading latest photograph and signature the page will automatically shifted to next step i.e. Fee Payment.

After successful submission of fee, follow step 4 and take print out of the Confirmation Page.

All the four links for candidate registration i.e. 1. Online submission of application form 2. upload images 3. payment of fee & 4. take print out of confirmation page can also be used separately.

Proposals for opening of new Kendriya Vidyalayas


Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) are meant primarily to cater to the educational needs of the wards of transferable / Non-transferable employees of Central Government, State Governments, autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings and Institutes of higher learning. If seats remain vacant after giving admissions to the wards of employees mentioned above, these vacant seats are given to children of other categories.

Proposals for opening of new KVs are considered only if sponsored by Ministries / Departments of the Government of India or State Governments / Union Territories Administrations or Organization of employees belonging to the eligible categories thereby committing resources for setting up a new KV, and are subject to availability of resources with the Central Government. The Government of India had conveyed sanction for setting up of 54 new KVs in the country on 04.03.2014. Out of these, 32 KVs have been made functional so far. The state/UT-wise details are given in Annexure.
